From the first climb out of Swellendam to the final stretch home, you showed what this event is all about: teamwork, determination, and going Further Together.
Here’s to the gees, the grit, and the memories made along 202km of South Africa’s most iconic team ride. 🚴‍♀️💪

Having led through both time checks, at 115km and 160km, the Chalk Air WC CMC team ceded time to the ASAP Ladies over the final 40km but did enough to win the 2025 Old Mutual Wealth Double Century by 1 minute and 28 seconds. The double defending champions had to give up their crown to the new queens of Swellendam: Chalk Air WC CMC. Nana Cycling Club, had been second in the time sheets through Ashton and Bonnievale, but having been down to 6 riders from the summit of Tradouw Pass they slowed in the closing kilometres and had to be content with 3rd.

And now... the result you have all been waiting for... the crowing of the Kings of the Atlantic Seaboard. Having come up short before and having roped in the long-time Sea Point residents Jasper Stuyven and Nico Roche to aid in their quest for glory, LPC cracked the code. ECC team captain, Jarryd Haley, endured the ignominy of handing over the crowns to the new kings.

Having started 20 minutes before the defending champions, the Road Warriors were first on the time sheets through Ashton. With 115km covered they led RH77 Factory, by 4 minutes and 22 seconds. Over the next 45km RH77 Factory reduced the Road Warriors advantage by 1 minute and 18 seconds, but remained 3:06 adrift. The last 40 kilometres, into a headwind and with 3 tough climbs to conquer, tested every team's resolve. The Road Warriors did not crack, ceding only 11 more seconds over the final phase of the race. As such the Road Warriors were crowned 2025 Old Mutual Wealth Double Century champions. RH77 Factory had to be content with 2nd.

The 226ers were 3rd, ahead of the Semela Collective and the Rouleur Tritans.

With 40km to race the Road Warriors lead RH77 by 3:06. Can the defending champions pull that back into the headwind now?

The 226ers have moved up into 3rd, but are 21 minutes down. The Samela Collective and the Rouller Tritans are 4th and 5th on the road.
