The Finish

You have made it! The 2019 Coronation Double Century has been tamed, now head down to the finish and bask in the glory.

The Finish Line

This is located in Van Eeden Street in Swellendam, a short drive/uphill walk from the Swellendam Showgrounds. There will be signage directing cars to a parking area adjacent to the finish line. Cyclists will cycle through a neutral zone to get back to the Swellendam Showgrounds.

The fantastic photographers from Jetline Action Photo will be on the route throughout the day to capture some awesome moments of you, the cyclists, taking part in the 202km Coronation Double Century, as well as at the finish.

There will also be a CDC photo wall at the start (before you go into your chute) and at the finish (about 100m after the finish line) where you and your team can take a before and after pic to commemorate taking part in this incredible adventure.

Post-race nutrition

To re-energise after a long day in the saddle, a delicious and hearty meal, as well as an ice cold drink, compliments of Coronation Fund Managers and FreshStop will be available to all cyclists. A food and drinks voucher will be attached to your medal. Food vouchers for non-cyclists can be purchased from the tuckshop under the shade tent.

Post-race massages

Coronation Fund Managers will be providing post-race sports recovery massages to help the recovery of those tired and weary muscles. These massages will be provided on a first come, first served basis and will run from 11:30 – 17:00.

Prize giving

Celebrating the category winners of the day, prize giving will take place underneath the big shade tent at 16:30.
